Over the last year and a half I have experimented with various versions of TT 2.0 3.0 and EDO and some other suggested mods. And I settled into what I thought was a more than acceptable sound quality. Mainly using EDO, and not TT.
Today for a variety of reasons I decided to perform a factory restore and did a download and restore of the firmware. To my surprise the touch is playing 24/192 files via coax and toslink without the benefit of EDO. My assumption is that this should not be possible and conclude that the file is being re-sampled somewhere in the process either in LMS or in the SBT. here's what I've tried so far: 1. I recently did a clean reinstall of LMS onto a new hard drive so doubt that this is the culprit. 2. I did keep original copies of the files I modified over the months and have restored them to original. These were SqueezeboxFab4.lua and SqueezeboxFab4meta.lua. Restoring these files made no difference, still playing 24/192 files. I assumed all along all of the files on the SBT would restore with factory reset but they do not. So I am worried that something else was changed that I missed.
