Without being able to perform an ABX test it's hard to say if there are differences, but I personally haven't noticed any major upgrade with ODAC. In the same chain upgrading the speakers has been a huge improvement.
I didn't regret buying the ODAC anyway, as using it with my Windows7 workstation instead of the on-board DAC is a notable improvement. Also the O2 amp is better choice than using the Touch headphone out with my HD650.
