I myself am currently dealing with similar issues. These things have seemed to happen at various times in the past, and I'm never sure how/why they resolve. I'm running a Macbook Pro with LMS wirelessly to my SBT. I have my music folder library on the laptop and also use spottily and various other streaming apps.
Usually I'm able to access my apps and my local folder all at the same time, but right now, when I'm on LMS, my apps aren't available. If I go to Setting>Advanced>Networking>Switch to mysqueezebox, I can then access my apps, but only on the SBT screen or my iPhone app, and the local library of my own files are no longer available and LMS loses connection to my SBT. I have to "SWITCH" back to my local library to play my own files, which disconnects me from my apps again. Hope my question makes sense. This rarely happens and I'm not sure how to resolve.
