Yeah, and I think you've hit the nail on the head nicely. While I don't know how to do what you've suggested...I'm not an idiot, and can ask questions and follow directions with the best of them. That being said...I agree; I don't exactly have a ton of time, to invest...for an untested/unproven solution. I have Googled, and seen some of the postings you reference; i.e. "alsa" issues, etc. While I don't even know what that means...lol; it seems to me, to be unresolved. So I guess the answer is...I'm assuming, for now; the SBT and X300A is -not- a viable solution. Didn't want to steal one of my Touch's anyway...lol. I'm looking into alternatives, and if the SBT works "easily" with these speakers; well...I could always give it a shot then.
