I'm having Spotify issues as well.

Could it have anything to do with Spotify's recent changes?  Now
playlists and anything else you "save" is catalogued under "your music".
I can access Spotify via LMS 7.8 and it connects but the interface menu
is limited, and my playlists, which are my "go to" listening mode, are
not there.

I tried Triode's plugin but for me that just made it worse.  I couldn't
get anywhere with that, no playback or access to Spotify music at all,
so I disabled it.

Unfortunately I'm one of those guys that points out issues, but rarely
has a solution for them!  Just sharing my experience.  Experience has
told me though, that sometimes these things get corrected without me
having to DO anything.  Hoping that happens in this case.
