I run my SBT hard-wired (via homeplugs) via LMS 7.7.2 on my PC and have never had any problems... until now!
My NAS crashed last week and I've moved to my 'back-up' server and music setup on my PC. When I tried to play some 24/96 flacs on the SBT, they kept buffering badly. Everything else works fine. I might - inadvertently - have changed something in the server filetype settings... Might this cause the issue? In the FLAC filetype setting boxes I have AIFF = FLAC, FLAC = Native and PCM = FLAC - is this correct? If not, I'd love to know what is causing my problem! If I could access my LMS on the NAS I would, to compare if there are any changed settings, but unfortunately it is inaccessible until I get it mended.
