I have not followed the ickstream service actively as I am in the process of transitioning from a Squeeze based system around my home to one based on Apple TVs and Airplay.
However - Tidal is an outstanding service in my experience. Does running Tidal on a Squeezebox Touch via ickstream require an LMS/ickstream server to be running locally or is it more analogous to mysqueezebox.com? Despite the fact that I am jumping ship primarily due to the ease of AirPlay - I think the work people have done here to keep things going is awesome. I have spent many hours using iPeng and other great plugins developed by the community here. Thank you for that.
