"...its own plug in"? No such animal. Squeezebox owners have two choices
to feed their devices: the Internet/Web-based server (mysqueezebox.com)
or Logitech Media Server (LMS) software running on a home computer.
Logitech keeps their website/server (mysqueezebox.com) running, but has
ceased developing or adding any new music services. Services (plugins)
are fixed at twenty-eight (28). Most all music services are typically
offered on a free (limited) or subscription (unlimited) basis.

Independent (third party) development continues using LMS. With LMS, the
ickStream app (found under "My Apps" once installed) acts to add several
new music services, while recognizing and maintaining use of all
previously installed apps at mysqueezebox.com.
