Well the remote has died! I know its the remote as I can reprogram the Harmony 880 to make it work, but I dont want to use that remote, but the one it came with. Now what? Have wasted long times trying to get anyone to answer the phone in Australia support. Are there spares still available? I have tried resoldering the IR emitter and it worked for a few mins, maybe my soldering skills are not great, as it stopped not long after, maybe I have to get it hotter? anyway apart from buying another potential dodgy one. Does anyone know what IR emitter model or part number to buy to replace the one installed? Can you buy a replacement pcb board? Does anyone have any other ideas I can try.
