Here's my problem: The mixes of many Spotify songs I hear on my
Squeezebox Touch are really weird. For example, on some Dean Martin
Reprise material, it seems like the instruments are mixed way down low,
as if they were trying to create a near a capella mix. On The Byrds' Mr
Tambourine Man, the bass was mixed way up.

I found that if I moved the RCA cables partially out of my Touch, or
even removed one of the cables entirely, the mix would be affected. For
example, depending on the position of the RCA cables, Mr. Tambourine Man
would sound either very bass-y or very treble-y. The sound would
similarly vary, from near-a capella to a fuller mix, for the Dean Martin
songs.

I think what may be happening is that I am getting either solely the
right channel or solely the left channel, although sound is coming
equally loudly out of both speakers. This would occur even when one RCA
cable was removed from the Touch. This happens ONLY with Spotify, and
not with any other app I use on my Squeezebox, nor with any other audio
source, like FM or CD, on my stereo.

I tried contacting Spotify customer service, but they basically told me
to contact Logitech. I have also tried without success to contact
Logitech.

Has anyone else had this problem, or can offer advice?

On a separate but related matter: If you are thinking about Spotify
Premium, I would advise you to consider their total lack of customer
service before you sign up.
