Reset them to the defaults they where when you installed the server . If you have not touched them good :)
Don't disable stuff unnecessarily FLAC=native should work fine , then the Touch should play flac files fine. For aiff and MP3 wav etc they have their own settings . This whole thing is to make priorities for the transcoding function . Certain players can play certain file formats and the server can transcode file formats if needed if the player can't play them, this capacity can vary depending on the server . The whole system can play more formats than the player supports , native means that you leave it to the player . In rare cases it does not work automatically it may need some tweaking but 99% of us does not need to do anything here . If any options are greyd out it means that you don't have the necessary binaries installed to do a certain conversion if needed . But squeezebox Touch plays FLAC ,WAV, MP3 ( and aiff and ALAC up to 16/44.1 ) so you fine . If you only use FLAC files you never going to need any transcoding . -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
