I was just thinking that the Devaliet has DoP capability for compatibility reasons to cater for these files as audiophiles tends to get these nowadays .As DSD is a rather peculiar format that's normally played back by special DSD DAC's .
Any processing at all requires it to converted to PCM like digital volume in a digital amp ? So it's a question on who's DSD to PCM conversion you trust Play DSD plugin or Devaliet . IMHO if there is any special sauce in DSD it's the actual recording process rather than the delivery format .
