The stream on the Touch is AAC:

iplayer://live?hls=http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio/simulcast/hls/nonuk/sbr_low/ak/bbc_radio_four_extra.m3u8&icon=http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/imda/logos/radio4x_logomobile1-1.png&radiovis=dab/ce1/ce15/c22c/0

In SERVER SETTINGS > FILE TYPES, for AAC I have:

AAC - Disabled
FLAC - Disabled
MP3 - faad / lame
PCM - faad

Should I try changing those? (BTW, for MP3 I have Native) I'm not any
sort of expert at the File Types stuff......

One thing I've immediately realized is that while I usually play AAC
streams on the Touch, I do often use a BBC MP3 stream (soemtimes via
MySB.com, but not always) on the Radios - which may explain the "pitch"
difference.
