I'm using the DAC with USB 2 connection, meaning the highest spec. possible.
Anyway, I notice that the digital connection issue is a hit and miss, meaning even I skip using app at all Touch eventually gets wonky if digital connection is cut off. I have re set up to have Touch, DAC and amp all connected from a switchable power outlet. Every time I use Touch it's freshly booted. It resolve the problem, but since my media server is in NAS and is a 7.6 version, I've got the software update notice everytime I turn it on. It's a bit annoying but not too bad, easiler than to activate the EDO then reboot again.
