Read a little deeper into spdif-- I was looking for an elegant way to attach the decoupling transformer, BNC can only be better not worse. And it fit perfectly in the TOSlink opening. Also in my case I was able to eliminate the rca/bnc coupler the cable came with. That change did overlap while I discovered the raspi/digi+ and didn't do a lot of listening on it, but it didn't screw up anything. Also it took 15mins, not a big deal to test it out, also can be reversed (didn't hack anything up in the touch) CiAudio VDC-SB - raspberry pi b+ hifiberry digi+ (BNC added, removed TOSlink) piCorePlayer (play song from RAM) - trumps sb touch sound quality --> Use as spare/reference: Touch (EDO / screen off plugin, removed analog coupling caps, removed toslink, added output transformer & bnc jack ) PSAudio TRIO C100 - DLIII (Cullen full upg AMP/DAC) - Energy Veritas w/Custom X-overs - 2x Martin Logan Descent i - Dectet - Cardas Cables ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sckramer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20311 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104602 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
