I don't use USB out. The other 3 connection types are all live
simultaneously and perhaps the USB is as well. I have my Touch connected
permanatently in both analogue and coaxial modes to my AV Receiver and
often switch between the two. You should be able to try all the outputs
and compare - just watch out for level diffrences.
