I have no problem streaming 24/96 over WiFi but (and it is a big 'but') I have very high signal strength (circa 90%) the Touch player. Perhaps I am wrong but I have the impression that the WiFi bandwidth can fall when the signal strength drops beyond a certain level. Please correct me is I'm wrong.
If WiFi isn't satisfactory and hard wiring is impractical, don't forget that you can probably use 'power line' type devices to run Ethernet over the mains power circuit. LMS will probably run very happily on that old laptop that is gathering dust but which you haven't yet thrown away!
