Yes the PC falls asleep . If you continue to play music does it stay connected ? And then you have to wake the PC next time you want to play music ?
Then there is WOL ( wake on LAN ) a setting in the PC's network card that lets it be waken by network activity . Squeezebox players are so nifty that they do send wake up packages to a sleeping server . This can depend on the PC hardware if it can be done and in most cases the PC must be connected by Ethernet to the network not wifi . There are some WOL apps for your phone so that you experiment . You can also amend the PC's power scheme and sleep settings , but WOL is better it lets you save some energy . Or does it fall asleep while its playing ? Then there is some setting or plugin for that " keep awake .." It's in the settings or search this forum or google . -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
