Even if optical 24/192 is in the spec it can be hit and miss . Remeber that Touch's parts where never speced for this rate , this is usually not a problem for coaxial as the bandwith is trivial . But the cheap optical components used in toslink has a different spec , the interface was never thought of to go that high.
