I'm trying to determine if this is an issue with just my SBT or just something that is unsupported.
When I select a Random Mix to play, songs that are 16/44 crossfade normally. However, when any other song with a higher sample rate is introduced (tested 48, 88, 96 and 192), that song is not faded in or out. The previous song simply ends, the hi-res song plays and then it ends. If the next few songs after that are 16/44, they continue to crossfade normally. I currently have the EDO plugin installed, using a USB Class 2 DAC, but I have also tried using coax out. In thinking it was an issue with the SBT's internal FLAC decoding, I forced the server to do the FLAC decoding, but that did not help. I then created a 'custom-convert.conf' file to force SoX to upsample everything to 192, but then nothing would crossfade. Lastly, I modified the 'custom-convert.conf' to downsample everything to 24/44, but I was back to square one where only 16/44 files were crossfading normally. On the downsample test, I was able to verify all songs (even hi-res) were coming down to the SBT at 44.1 through the EDO applet. I attached a screenshot of the audio settings for my SBT. If anyone has any insight into this issue, it would be greatly appreciated! +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: SBT_Settings.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=20621| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ xabba's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65810 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105751 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
