The volume control on my touch stopped working recently.
---its been working fine for a decade or so ---it is now stuck at maximum volume, and won't move either with the control on the little screen or via the controller I use either ---everything else seems to work fine ---I have tried rebooting and turning it off for an hour or so and then rebooting --I found it hard to believe this is not a software problem, but have no idea why it suddenly happened.
