These little wallwart supplies are only good for so long. They all eventually get tired and fail. We always keep a handful of spares on hand. Besides sourcing a high dollar outboard supply that should outlive the player (CIAudio, etc.), you can always find fair quality 5v SB compatible supplies on Ebay for @ $10 delivered. Spare supplies for the Receivers and Radios are a little harder to find.
Ninety percent of the time one of our Squeezeboxes drops out, its just the power supply. Its the first thing you should suspect. And its a quick and easy fix. Be sure to plug it into transient protection. It will all last longer if you do.
