I don't know why rc5.local doesn't work perhaps it is an EDO kernel
thing but if you want to mod behaviour of rcS - then create a rcS.local
file (or rename the rc5.local) - it will be called at right time by rcS
script.  Also you can keep a copy in case rcS gets updated. If you do
get problems later - don't forget to mention this mod (or at least test
without the mod).

Risk depends on how secure your computers & network is ( e.g. router is
configured to allow some ouside connections).  For example. if an
outside user can ssh into your Touch ( password default is trivial) then
user is inside your network (or remote copy since script file is 777) ,
can access any computers on your network or if router has upnp enabled -
reconfigure and open your router up.
