I don't know why rc5.local doesn't work perhaps it is an EDO kernel thing but if you want to mod behaviour of rcS - then create a rcS.local file (or rename the rc5.local) - it will be called at right time by rcS script. Also you can keep a copy in case rcS gets updated. If you do get problems later - don't forget to mention this mod (or at least test without the mod). Risk depends on how secure your computers & network is ( e.g. router is configured to allow some ouside connections). For example. if an outside user can ssh into your Touch ( password default is trivial) then user is inside your network (or remote copy since script file is 777) , can access any computers on your network or if router has upnp enabled - reconfigure and open your router up. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110126 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
