When you reboot the Touch (press button on left back above power port), you will see a startup message about EDO being loaded. It is in the upper left of the screen and maybe you can see it flash by if not totally blind.
Not sure why you went the route you did with installing EDO. The "normal" way to do it is via the Touch screen: Settings > Advanced > Applet Installer > Enhanced Digital Output > Install 0.10 => You may need to disable "Recommended Applets Only". Touch without EDO will do up to 24/96. You need more than that?
