I've been gone forever. Well, my Squeezebox Touch has been idle forever due to PC issues. Almost 3/4 of a TB of tunes was on my old hard-drive and external. Both shat the bed. So, I gleefully tossed my old PC into the garbage, bought a desk top MAC and spent weeks re-burning all my discs. Sadly, I lost a ton of stuff on the External drive. I still have it, but it will not power up. I have no idea if it's economically feasable to resurrect it or not. But, the new MAC is a joy and so is having my SBT back!
So, due to my absence, I am way behind the curve. 1. My iPhone App will no longer control my SBT. I get a message from Apple that the APP needs updating. I gather that LTech is no longer in the business and that the app may be toast. Is there an updated app somewhere or a work around with the old one?? 2. Is there a way to run the SBT from my MacBook? My MAC is in another room and upstairs. That's where the LMS is located. I spend a ton of time downstairs on my laptop, where my main stereo is located.
