does this static/noise occur when moving from tracks of different rates.
For example, you don't hear this if you move from 16/44.1 to the next
song which is also 16/44.1.  But you do hear this if you move from
16/44.1 to the next song which is 24/192?  There are DACs that don't
deal nicely when changing from one file type to another.
