Keep in mind that the Touch is not "connecting" to the Vortexbox server
itself. The Vortexbox is connecting to your local network (ethernet
connected I assume), and the Touch is connecting via WIFI to your local
network.  Perhaps your vortexbox is no longer seeing the local network. 
Maybe it has a fixed IP address related to the old router (e.g., old
router may have used 192.168.1.XXX and new router uses 192.168.0.xxxx).

To test whether the Touch is connected to the local network with no
issues, can you switch to "mysqueezebox.com" source on the TOUCH (using
screen menu) and see if the Touch plays when connected to mysb.com. 
This will confirm that the Touch sees the network just fine (thus the
problem is that the Vortexbox is not seeing the network).
