Hi Yeah I have been about to remove that statusline thingy, it was mostly to debug some stuff, such as mode switch and cursoring around. This more classical look is better. In fact I already had similar patch ready, along with few other fixes, but I have been busy travelling past few weeks in Taiwan. So didint have time to send them.
