hi folks,
As a sign of my old age, I want to make things real quiet.

I'm upgrading turbo at the moment, making new manifold, meaning different compressor
outlet/intercooler inlet pipe, I was thinking of palming off my Apex BOV (the one with
red collar and 3 pitch adjustments) and going for a stock BOV (assuming all stock
BOV's dont vent to atmosphere).

Problem I presume is that stock BOV's wouldnt be adjustable, so I thought something
off a larger vehicle, eg MA70 7MGTE might do the trick. Then I thought stock
pressures are always low anyway, larger vehicle only means larger turbo/more air same
pressure so same rated springs anyway, so they may bleed off if boosting over 1 bar...

but as I dont know any of the above, and assumptions are the mother of all boost ups,
I thought I'd ask owners who have trashed their stock BOV?

My other desire is to silence the induction noise. I just want to hear the hum of the
engine like a sweet sports bike, but I'm then presented with size of
baffling/resonator box problem taking up space, and the catch 22 situation that by
disrupting the flow with baffles/silences, will I be starving the system of air? Any
thoughts on this one?

Sincerely,
silent but violent
