Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: metaserver-lite Group: Bug - Protocol Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Lee Begg (llnz) Assigned to: Tim Ansell (mithro) Summary: Key should be only thing identifying a game as unique Initial Comment: The key passed to the metaserver should be the only thing that makes a game unique. Therefore, if a game is registered with the metaserver with the same names, addresses, etc but with a different key, a new entry for the game should be created. If it gets added to the protocol, the start time of the game would be the only other identifying field, although it might not be unique. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=723099&aid=1711237&group_id=132078 _______________________________________________ tp-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://mail.thousandparsec.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tp-bugs
