Interesting... How about a Konquest ruleset? A KDE classic. It's not very different from MiniSec, but without the perfect knowledge, with only one type of ship but with a ship quality inherited from the planet it was made, and perhaps there are some other minor tweaks. Would that be possible? It should be, anyway :). Perhaps a bit meager for a SoC project, but I'm sure lots of KDE geeks would love to see something like that.
