This one will be short.

Libtpproto-cpp is the client-side protocol and game library written in C++. It
has similar functionality to libtpproto-py and libtpclient-py.

Since 0.1.1 release in July, Nash, JLP and Krzysztof have made commits, fixing
various things.

I have plans for a while now (since before 0.1.1) to make some fairly large
changes. There are only two users of the library (afaik), tpclient-cpptext (a
simple command line client) and parsek (JLP's KDE4/QT4 client). After
discussing with JLP, this is the plan for the next stage:

- Possible 0.1.2 release for current changes, if necessary
- Move to a more asynchronous model to integrate better with toolkits
   - expose network file descriptor(s) to toolkit
   - set up timers with toolkit
   - generally avoid blocking the GUI
- Metaserver and mDNS-SD support
- TP04 support

Any feedback on the current API and suggestions for future work is welcome.

I am currently focused on tpserver-cpp to get a release out, but I hope to get
most of the current plan done before LCA next year (and with luck, before new
year).

Later
Lee
