May of the other proposals have also hit this problem.
Our recommendation is to do the following,
* include the most important parts in the GSoC page
* link to an external source with the rest of the information
* highlight parts which are not in the main application in a
different colour

The roadmap is looking good. It would be preferable that you list
deliverable in the form which are testable,
IE "A client will be able to login and view planets", the key here is
that it's assertive, definite and testable. (I can bring up a client and
login to your server and see if I get the planets.)

A wiki is a very good way for us to see the progress of your proposal
and I would highly recommend keeping this copy up to date.
