What you have to do :
1. Pass the -xrunpiAgent as a java argument when you start your JBoss server.
2. After the server is started, you will attach to the server process using the Profile... > Attach - Java Process profile configuration; in this configuration wizard , go to the Agents tab and select the process corresponding to your JBoss server.

I don't have JBoss installed on my machine so I can't give you more detailed information on step 1. I do have Tomcat and what I did to start this server in profiling mode ( step 1 ) was to update the catalina.bat file and pass the -xrunpiAgent argument. I am attaching the catalina.bat as a sample

Hello,

As i can not manage to get a working version of the wtp plugin for jboss
3.2.x to work, i would like to use the jboss ide plugin instead as my
debugger in order to get my profiling working with tptp .. does any know if
this is possible and how to use tptp with it ..

Any link to any doc would be great ..

Any link to any doc about wtp with jboss 3.2.x ..
