I have found the problem. By default Ubuntu (or when a plugin is
installed in Eclipse), probeinstrumenter is installed with +rw
permissions, not with execution permission. So only given execution
permission and all works perfectly. Thank you very much for your patience.
Hi Alex,
Can you check the executable bit on the probeinstrumenter file and set
it manually if it's not already set?
The probeinstrumenter file can be located in:
Linux:
<eclipse_path>/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.hyades.probekit_<version>/os/linux/x86/probeinstrumenter
Solaris:
<eclipse_path>/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.hyades.probekit_<version>/os/solaris/sparc/probeinstrumenter
