Hi Lei,
Yes you can get the execution flow of your application as long as it's written in Java. There are a couple of different ways of doing this in TPTP. You can either use the Java profiler included in TPTP or use Probekit to get the execution flow of your application. Here are some documentation/screencasts that should help you out. These are all available on our main Documentation page which can be accessed here: http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/index.html
Profiler:
http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/tutorials/viewlets/v4.1/EW-profile/EW-profile/EW-profile_viewlet_swf.html
http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/tutorials/profilingtool/ProfileVideo.exe
Probekit:
http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/platform/documents/probekit/viewlet/IntroToProbekit_viewlet_swf.html
http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/platform/documents/probekit/probekit.html
There was also a recent article in Eclipse Review that explains how TPTP can be used to reverse engineer an application (by analyzing its execution flow). You can download Eclipse Review from here: http://www.eclipsereview.com/retrieve/er_200606.htm. The article is on page 41.
Good luck,

Hi, everyone. Recently I am working on my thesis, I want to use tptp to get the execution traces of a GUI based system. Does tptp provide this function? Is any document about this function?
thanks.
