The plugins directory for the agent controller (AC) does not really contain “plugins” in the Eclipse sense. It’s a repository for agents and their extensions needed when the AC is working in “backward compatibility” (BC) mode. That’s where the “perfmon agent” amongst others is found… that agent, e.g., is “connected to” (actually launched and then connected to) when you attempt to launch via the “statistical analysis” launch option under the Profiling and Logging perspective.

Subject: [tptp-tracing-profiling-tools-dev] Running plug-ins in Agentcontroller

Hi,

I installed Agent controller 4.2 on my machine. How do I connect to the plug-ins listed in the plug-in directory and see the output? I am able to connect to the agents listed under agent directory by running the client program SampleClientAC.java provided as sample by Eclipse from the Eclipse workbench.

Regards,

Krishna
