Hi Guru,

Just to let you know I had partial success with the latest candidate build:

- The agent controller + plugin all works correctly and runs stand alone fine
- Installing the TPTP runtime plugin into a fresh 3.3M5 build *did
not* allow me to profile an application. The menu did contain a
"Profile" option but then no launch configurations tab for profiling
or any other options to initialise a profiling.
- Using the all-in-one eclipse + tptp download I was able to
sucessfully do all three types of profiling.

I would still like to track down the problems installing the TPTP
plugins into a fresh Eclipse install. I don't understand why this
doesn't work? Is it sufficient to install the "All TPTP plugins
(Runtime)" to get the profiler up and running?

To progress I would like to get to a stage where I can develop
something on top of your profiler. Could you give me some pointers on
setting up my Eclipse environment to do this, which projects I will
need to check out of CVS etc. Or will it be sufficient to use the SDK
plugins provided?

Regards,
Neil

Neil,
I just checked the daily build(on windows) and the runtime issues are
resolved. I will check the linux and let you know.
On the Eclipse client - please upgrade to 3.3 M5 instead of M4. The
issue is caused due to an API issue.

Thanks,
Guru

Hi Guru,

Cool I'll look out for the latest candidate tomorrow.

I'm using 3.3M4 here. I can grab a nightly if it helps...
