I don't think the target would be to create CBEs. This would be some sort
of load of the profiling (aka trace) model. There are a set of "events" or
XML fragments to do this, and we can certainly talk about a bulk or
aggregated import/load as part of an import.

An object reference graph and size and instance count info should be
straight forward if it is available. Getting the namespace of objects and
classes is the tricky part which there is some experience on in the OC
Systems team from their hitchhiker work.

Thanks for your time.

Hi Sheldon,
I am not aware of an feature for C/++ profiling in TPTP. Can you
provide a reference?

You can convert your logs to CBE format by using the Generic Log
Adapter (GLA):

http://help.eclipse.org/help32/topic/org.eclipse.tptp.monitoring.doc.isv/tasks/tdeveloplogparser.html

http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/installguide/gla_44/gla_install.html

Hi,

I have been working on CDT base product for quite some time, one
of the new features to be added is to add memory leak detection and
profiling to the product.
As per the TPTP project plan there is a feature for C/C++ profiling going
to be added, when is this going to be added. I would also like to know
more
about the hydes CBE format that is used in TPTP to show the graphical
results.

I would like to know if it is possible to convert say a log created by our
profiling tool to the CBE format which can then be plugged into the TPTP
framework to display the results.
