Hi Vince,

You will have to attach to the profiling agent you started with the
agentlib to have it appears in the Monitor view. You can do so by listen
to the server type of your choice and attach to it when it is started in
profile mode. Take a look at
org.eclipse.tptp.platform.profile.server.wst.internal.ApplicationServerListener.attachToAgents(IServer)

for more information.

Let me know off line if you have more question about the Profile on Server
code.

Regards,

[tptp-tracing-profiling-tools-dev] Another server adapter issue
Sent by:

Hi,

I am working with Galileo.

I am trying to extend the server adapter for GlassFish published by the
glassfishplugins project to support profiling with TPTP.

I am able to start the server in profile mode... but when I switch to
the Profiling and Logging perspective, nothing appears in the Profiling
Monitor view.

I am under the impression that an adapter that is working correctly with
TPTP would already have its data visible in the Monitor view

If I create an Attach to Agent configuration the profiler appears...

So, either my impression is wrong, or there is something wrong with my
adapter.

Any info on where to look would be useful,

vbk

PS:

My agentlib reads like this...

-agentlib:JPIBootLoader=JPIAgent:server=enabled;ThreadProf
