Hello, We are a small company that currently is looking at using Trac to replace a few tracking systems (bugzilla, mostly) and roll them into one system. Trac looks very promising, however for it to work for some of our non-technical staff we feel a few modifications will be required. These changes we also feel would be welcome to the overall community as well.
Specifically, we are looking to enhance the TicketQuery function in the Wiki. A general overview of the changes would be to allow formatting of the output of this query (such as displaying ticket ID, ticket name, owner, status, etc.), as well as a few minor report variables that currently are not controllable. Yes, this functionality will be very similar to the Reports functionality - however for our needs, it fitting into the Wiki in our format will make things far easier. If anyone is interested, please feel free to contact me directly. We'd like to get this started immediately. I will forward on full specifications so you can provide a time estimate and billing rate. All code written for us will be released under the modified BSD license Trac uses, with the hope it will be incorporated into the mainline Trac tree.
