Encouraging (Trac) Development hits on several barriers.

One is the license issue, which is solved (Trac's very liberal BSD2
license)

Another barrier is, to find a 'healthy' way to combine Open Source with
Commercial Interests.

I think that I am close to have an solution for this, by simply
publishing working plans:

This gives the necessary visibility to attract commercial clients, but
_only_ when contributing actively to the open-source project.

More contributors are of course of benefit.

Different mentalities can create non-solvable conflicts, which decrease
development throughput.

Although not sure yet, I think that I am close to a solution for one of
the 'central desasters' within open source:
