Thanks, but unfortunately I don't think I'd be able to do much with it :| I'm still learning the basics about how trac is designed. I feel there are more sources in which i can base myself if i go with the solution of inheriting from Formatter, so i think i'll go this route for now and see how it turns out. thanks!
