Looking from the outside in - and being used to the way Subversion is developed - I've *always* been amazed by the fact that sincere requests for information are nearly always redirected to IRC. First of all because it's really hard (much harder so than mail traffic) to build an archive out of if, but also because reading mail backlog is a lot easier than reading IRC backlog. With the Subversion community we have the rule 'IRC is fine, but it isn't official until it hits the development mailing list'. Which has worked really great for us. I hope these remarks help you in some way. bye, Erik. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Development" group.
