What is done and what remains is pretty much covered by
http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracDev/Proposals/NewHelp - at least as
my original idea goes.
There has been various earlier discussions about the branch and state
of the docs (search the trac-dev archives), and I've just been waiting
for Noah (or others) to apply their ideas for integrating Sphinx in
the branch before progressing. Not quite knowing how the docs will
change, I figured it would be best just to leave them as-is for now to
make it easier to integrate latest docs changes to default wiki pages
before progressing.
I'm ready to move forward with the branch, but some outstanding issues
like seach will also depend on how the docs are to be stored and
retrieved for display - and no doubt it will also mean adjustments to
some of the current assumptions.
Noah, if you have time to outline what Sphinx will imply and your
proposed changes, that would be most welcome.
