Thanks Christian, Before I look at using get_db_cnx let me ask you a short question related to: "why are my print statements not enough for debugging?"
So, if I am not using tracd, if I am using apache, where do these print statements show up? I am not sure if they are sufficient or not, but I don't even know where to look to find them. (I suspect they are not sufficient for my desires, I like to see the SQL interspersed with the other logged statements.) Now, I'll look at get_db_cnx, and thank you, but in my getting to understanding Trac, I really am interested in the question I asked here, when is Environment not a singleton?
