Trac Dev Team, Having been let go from Sun Microsystems some time ago and having run out of home improvement projects for the time being (please do not let my wife know), I would like to keep myself busy. Looking for a job full time is not the most uplifting activity. So .... back when ... a co- worker suggested that since I had been trying to get our engineering team on board with Trac and having customized it for project work flow .... I should contribute to the Trac effort. I had found Trac to be a very nice system for managing projects. Had just the right amount of stuff, but not overloaded with features. So here I am today, how can I help? I have some ideas ..... but also understand you all are not going to let anything willy-nilly into Trac. Also I assume there is some form of vetting process and patience is in order. I am willing to start any where.
A picture of my skills: 5+ years with Python, customized Trac itself, therefore hacked internals (although that was 10.4 release), comfortable with html, css, javascript, jquery and more. Again willing to start with any issue, ticket or such. Please understand I have not contributed to an open source effort before, so I am not sure how one engages in an effort like this. Ready and willing, s. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Development" group.
