Not seen a response for a week now. You already thought through your
request twice or more, right?

Simply, to receive a answer, you must provide more information:
 * What is this "case study" for, your education/study work/diploma?
 * How would information disclosed to you treated and how/where would
the end result be published/available?

Be aware that you ask for information, that is normally not publicly
available, since software development, R&D or equal departments, where
you'll find most of Trac applications, belong to the core know-how of
each company. So you may provide substantial guarantees, even sign NDA,
before you can get what you want.

OTOH you may not get any information from OpenSource-affine people, if
you announce to not publish your work in an equally open-minded manner.
That's real, and a real mess in my eyes, but cope with it.

BTW, this is a big misunderstanding of OpenSource, if you or others
think, code, documentation, support, everything is for free. You may get
all that and more, but you need to show true interest, be willing to
give something back in any form, ask really, really kindly, and be
really, really, really patiently, since most, if not all of us bring in
our spare time for the project here. :-)

Good luck.
