I just created a new branch as you described above. Everything is now at http://github.com/CuriousCurmudgeon/trac-batch-modify/tree/ticket525-batchmodify. Have you had a chance to review the code itself?
No sorry, I've been busy with #9536.
As far as the wiki goes, I think the points in your summary are a good start. What messed me up was that I was just using a git command reference to learn, but didn't read anything about what is considered a proper git workflow. I think pointing to some resources on proper git use in the wiki would be helpful.
My shortlist is: - http://progit.org/book/ - http://gitref.org/ And I find the git man pages very helpful.
Thanks for the help. I didn't know anything about cherry-pick or how to properly rebase. I've been learning as I go, but it sounds like it's time to grab a book to learn git in some depth.
Did I mention Scott Chacon's book already? ;-) -- Christian -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Trac Development" group.
