I've attached the patch for review here (against trunk): http://trac.edgewall.org/attachment/ticket/2259/attachment_0.13dev.patch I've shuffled the quite old code to merge _notify() into notify(), and extract the change computation outside the _notify() method, as this part is useless for attachment notification processing.
